No More Signage

It's the end of an era. After four and a half years the sign you see in the photo at the top of our contact us page has been removed from the building. Truth be told, that sign is probably one of the main reasons I kept the office as long as I did in face of so many compelling reasons to go to a virtual office model and be done with the $5K in monthly office-related expenses.
The sign was a great investment, even if the office space itself wasn't. But had I been paying for the office space without having a sign then I would have been double the fool. Everybody had seen that sign, even if they had no clue what MWI was. Because of that sign I could talk with just about anybody in Utah and say "I'm with MWI" and they'd say "Oh yeah, you're down by Point of the Mountain right by the freeway, I've seen your building down there" or at a minimum "Yeah, I've heard of MWI but I'm not sure where." Such was the benefit of having a highly visible sign on a building a few feet from one of the busiest stretches of freeway in the state, and I'm sad to see it go, but happy to not have an office anymore and be saving $5K per month.
As for the retired signs, they are being crated up by the professionals at Yesco and I'm going to store them in my garage. I was thinking of putting them up in our bedroom and turning them on at night, but my wife's patience only goes so far. Maybe they'll go up again someday, maybe not, but it was good while it lasted.
